Searching for People
- Desktop
- From your desktop, select “People” in the left Sidebar.
- Type a person's name, display name, job title, or email address in the search field. To filter results, click “Filter.”
- Click the person’s photo to view profile details. Click the close icon at the top when you are done.
- Mobile
- Open the Slack app.
- From the Home tab, swipe right to open the main menu.
- Tap “People.”
- Type a person's name into the search field.
- Tap the person’s name to view profile details.
Searching for User Groups
- If you're on a paid plan, you can also search for user groups from the directory. From your desktop, select “People” in the left Sidebar.
- Click the “User Groups” tab.
Note: You can also create and modify user groups from the directory.
