We recommend adding a browser extension for OneLogin to facilitate use throughout your work day. Adding a browser extension will also allow you to add personal passwords to pages your frequently visit.

Using your desktop or laptop navigate to the login page: https://idesign.onelogin.com/ and sign in.

Access Your Profile

Once you have logged into your OneLogin portal, access your profile settings.

Access Browser Extension Tab

From your profile settings select Browser Extension.

Add Your Extension

Follow the prompts to add the appropriate browser extension. The following steps will vary depending on the type of browser you are using.

Chrome

  1. Select the blue Add to Chrome button.
  2. Select Add Extension from the "Add OneLogin for Google Chrome" pop up.
  3. The OneLogin logo (a black circle with the number 1) will appear in the browser toolbar. You will be given the option to sync the extension with your Google account.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Select the Continue to Installation option in the pop-up prompt.
  2. Select Add to trigger the installation confirmation message.
  3. Select Okay, Got it to finish the set-up.

Safari

  1. OneLogin will redirect you to the OneLogin for Safari page in the Apple App store.
  2. Provide your Apple ID credentials and select GET.
  3. If prompted, select INSTALL.
  4. Confirm the installation by navigating to Safari > Preferences > Extensions. You should see the OneLogin extension listed. If you do not, repeat steps 1-3.

Internet Explorer

  1. If the extension does not automatically download, select the Download prompt to download the onelogin_ie.exe file.
  2. Follow the prompts to run and install the Internet Explorer extension.

Note: iDesign does not recommend using the Internet Explorer for iDesign activities as a majority of edTech software is not highly compatible with Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Select the GET prompt.
  2. If you are running v79 you will be directed to the OneLogin for Chrome installation page. Please see Chrome instructions above.

Note: If you are running a Microsoft Edge version previous to v79, please update your browser to v79 before proceeding to installation.
