When to edit entries

There are 3 common reasons why a time entry would need to be edited:

  1. The wrong amount of time was recorded for a task
  2. The time was entered on the wrong project
  3. Time was entered on the wrong date



How to edit entries

To correct any of these errors, use the date strip at the top to make sure you’re on the date that the error was made.


Scroll down, below the timecard where you will see the completed entries for that day. Edit the entry by hovering your mouse over the entry and selecting Edit link.


The timecard will now display the original entry where you can make the needed edits. When in edit mode, you will be able to change the number of hours in the entry or update the entry to be tied to a different task.


iDesign Tip
To change the date for an entry while in edit mode, simply select the new date from the date strip and select Save to save the entry. Doing this will move the time entry to the new date you selected.
