If you have both a Microsoft personal account and a Microsoft 365 work or school account, it's easy to switch between them without leaving any of your Office apps.



Web Apps

  1. Click your name and picture at the top right of the window.

  2. If you've already added your account to Office, click the account name. Otherwise, select Sign in with a different account and follow the sign-in prompts..

Note: While a user can add multiple accounts in a Microsoft 365 web app, only one account will be active per app at a time. If a user ends up with two or more browser app tabs with different accounts, users will be notified to refresh the tabs with non-active accounts.



Desktop

  1. Open the application you wish to use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc..)

  2. Click your name and picture at the top right of the window.

  3. Select the account you want to switch to or click on the Sign in with a different account item.
